Enlightening You with makeup Lessons!

With a ton of beauty information constantly making their move into the beauty industry, it cannot be obvious to decide who are the ones you should be following. In light of that, we bring some invaluable advice that can stick with you for years to come!

Before we present you with those, let us give you a list of beauty products and supplies you need to have in your pouch to get the job done with those perfect eyes!

   Smokey Eye Makeup:

1)Prep Well:

Prepping beforehand is essential so that no smudging or redness is involved. A primer works excellently here. Apply it on your eyelid as it “prevents fading, while intensifying the pigments.” If you want anti-slipping protection, then a translucent powder on top won’t be a bad idea.

2) Lining:

Take an angled, stiff brush, and dip that into a dark liner. Then, move it around your lashes, and wing it out at 1/8 inch beyond the corner. Make sure you stop at either the center or just above your pupil if you have small eyes. If you need something dramatic, drag the dark pencil onto the lower lashes and the inner rims.

3) Layering the shadows on:

Use a pointy, damp sponge with the darkest hue top liner, which you can find. With that, try building the—Color and going for the second shade from the lash line to the crease. Then, create a little faded element with the help of this hue, and highlight the bone of the brow with the palest shade. Wiggle a jet-black mascara on your lashes once you’ve done all that.

Brown Smokey Eyes Tutorial

Having listed the above, now let’s move onto:
We here have made our choice by selecting a few palettes that have grabbed our attention.
This include:

 Bright Eyeshadow:

A few years ago, Yves Saint Laurence launched this beautiful eye shadow collection with various vibrant shades. The group is well-balanced in cool and warm tones and light and dark shades. The Saint Laurent OMBRES 5 LUMIÈRES eyeshadow palette in #05 Riviera features a variety of blues in both warm and cool tones. It is a great choice; you can play around with it as much as you wish, increasing or decreasing the hue. They’ve discontinued this collection, but it’s still available at www.poshmark.com.

  Colorful Eyeshadow:

Saint Laurent Couture Colour Clutch Eyeshadow Palettes released their new Color Eyeshadow collection for the summer of 2021. Ten eyeshadows in various finishes encased in a couture clutch complete with quilted, faux leather and the iconic gold YSL logo. Ten shimmery, satin, and matte eyeshadows to create eye makeup looks ranging from soft neutrals to bold metallics. The luxurious clutch by YSL makes each shadow palette a covetable makeup and fashion accessory. Available at: www.yslbeautyus.com

 Nude matte:

This eyeshadow can be used both day and night, at work or a party. It’s the perfect shade in any eyeshadow palette. The Dior 5 Couleurs Couture Toile de Jouv eyeshadow palette is highly pigmented and long-lasting. Each eyeshadow palette, Denim, Black Bow, and Rouge, offers a nuanced array of intense shades that are easy to use and combine ( $62). Available at: www.dior.com

Tom Ford Lavender Lust Eye Color Quad is a pink and purple-themed palette. Tom Ford’s eyeshadows have four finishes: “sheer sparkle, satin, shimmer, and matte make eye colors such as blue and green pop out! The Tom Ford Quad in Lavender Lust is a personal favorite here ( $74), available at www.poshmark.com.

   False Lashes

False Lashes:

A makeup look is practically incomplete without those false lashes at your disposal. You need some good products to make them stand out, and here we have some recommendations.

1) Prepping:

Curl your natural lashes until they fall seamlessly in line with your fakes. According to some makeup experts, place the longer lashes at the outer corners. Once this is done, to camouflage, use black eyeliner, and make a thick stroke.

2) Application:

Always go for the faux lashes, which are a little longer than your own. Either short or medium-length ones do the trick. Then, mix the two by placing the shorter ones in the center and the longer ones in the out corners of the eyes.

Feel free to squeeze a dollop of formula, take some tweezers, pinch some lash crusher, and dip it into some glue. Ensure you place the lashes as close to your lash line as possible!

For a subtle look, three clusters are enough. If you need something more profound, then go for the five clusters.

Note: The clusters above the iris should have the same length as your natural hair.

3) Highlighting and Blending:

Look for lightweight mascaras here, as the voluminous ones can cause clumps. Then ensure that everything is nicely blended and no glue sticks out from the sides.

Lastly, remove any gaps by applying one final strike of eyeliner.

During Removal:

Take some baby oil or Vaseline and massage that onto your faux lashes with a cotton swab when you want to remove the lashes. After a minute or so, remove the falsies from their place.

     Matte Red Lips:

Nothing amplifies one’s look more than some great matte red lipstick to compliment every attire of yours! The secret to achieving such lips is something that not everyone has a hold of, but we can give you some secrets here.

1) Priming:

A soft toothbrush is your number one tool for exfoliating, but if you don’t have that, there is no need to worry, as a damp washcloth gets the job done too! Apply a hydrating lip treatment afterward, which helps prevent flaking.

2) Lining:

After priming your lips, apply a creamy pencil that matches the color of your mouth. “This creates a guideline for an impeccable and exact application,” as stated by some makeup artists.

3) Saturating the Color:

Then dab the lipstick onto the center of your lips and purse them together. Make sure to fix any lip color with a brush, so your look doesn’t appear stained. Then reapply and press the tissue over it.

Red Lipstick for Your Skin Tone:

The first step for those who want to use red lipstick is to choose the shade. The main tip is determining whether your skin tone is cool or warm. To find out, look at the veins on your wrist. If they blue or purple typically indicate that you have cool undertones, while green or olive equates to warm, and blue-green veins suggest that neutral undertones are in effect.

Fair Skin:

If you have fair skin, we suggest you go for a pinkish or even a blue-based shade of lipstick. Our top choice here is Avon Ultra Color Rich Lipstick, which you can find at www.poshmark.com.

 Dark Skin:

Here, my own top choice is going for a Brown toned lipstick such as the Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lipstick in no 38 colors. www.channel.com

   Olive Skin:

Nothing looks better on your beautiful Olive skin than the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick, available in Mats no 201. Available at:

These helpful makeup lessons will leave you looking gorgeous! It’s better to keep makeup simple when it comes to applying it. It’s better to let natural beauty shine than to hide it! You may need some time to find the right product and technique, so try a few. And most importantly, have fun with it! And most importantly, have fun with it!
